“Our Splendid Inheritance” curated by our trustees Dr Clare Haynes and Iain Walker, celebrates Norwich’s Medieval Parish Churches – and answers some key questions, like Why are there so many? Why did so many survive here and not elsewhere?
The highlight of the exhibition is a giant, room sized model of Norwich in the mid 18th century, showing in 3D which churches then stood, and which had already been lost.
